Clinical background
Dr Nigel Lord qualified at Sheffield University (MBChB) in 1991 and continued his training until 1995, when he qualified as a General Practitioner, becoming a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP). Dr Lord held a locum GP position at the University of Sheffield Medical Centre, then became a GP Principal in 1996. Dr Lord currently has an NHS practice is based in Altrincham, where he is a Partner and former educational trainer plus GP supervisor. Dr Lord has a clinical interest in musculoskeletal medicine, joint injections and was promoted from a Member of the Royal College of GPs (MRCGP) to a Fellow (FRCGP) in 2023.

The duty of a General Practitioner expert witness is to the Court.
