Miss Charlotte Defty

Miss Charlotte Defty completed her Bond Solon training in 2023 and is a Medico-legal Expert Witness, providing reports in Personal Injury cases. Miss Defty accepts instructions on adult and paediatric patients from the age of 10 years upwards.

In 2004, Miss Defty completed her medical qualification at the University of Liverpool School of Medicine.  She became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2007 and by 2015, acquired her Plastic Surgeon Qualification FRCS Ed (Plast). From 2017, Miss Defty became the Laser Lead at Whiston and Consultant at STHK NHS Trust. Her current NHS post is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at St Helens and Knowsley NHS Trust, with subspecialty areas including Mohs surgery, skin cancer, laser surgery, rejuvenation surgery and treatments. Since 2021, she has been the Regional Training Program Director (Mersey) and MOHS Lead within her post.
